At Templeton Image, I understand the power of visual storytelling and its impact on captivating family members, conveying love, and creating lasting memories.

With a heartfelt and professional approach, I am dedicated to delivering high-quality, emotionally moving video content tailored to tell your story and exceed your expectations.

This guide is designed to give you a sneak peek into what’s coming next and how we’ll work together to capture your love for life.

here's WHAT TO COME

1. Engagement Session Questionnaire & Guide

A detailed questionnaire will be sent to gather specifics about your engagement session. Please wait to fill out questionnaire until all logistics have been finalized (ex. location, date & time, permit approval, scheduling, etc.). The engagement guide will help you prepare for what's to come plus help with wardrobe/styling. If there are specific dates for Save the Dates or announcements that require completion by a certain day & time, we need to schedule the session at least 4 weeks prior to that date.

2. Engagement Session Consultation

Once the questionnaire is completed, we'll schedule a call/Zoom to run through the details, answer any of your questions, help with wardrobe/styling & discuss the logistics of the session.

3. the Actual Engagement Session & Trailer Delivery

We capture your engagement session within 2 hours and up to 2 outfits. Then you're engagement session trailer is crafted over the next few weeks. If there are any deadlines (ex. Save the Date's, website, registry, announcement timing, etc.) PLEASE let me know ASAP so I can ensure delivery before that! Standard delivery is up to 4 weeks for a trailer via digital gallery. Rush services are available for an additional fee.

4. Wedding Day Questionnaire & Guide

Just like the engagement session, about 30 days before your wedding date (given that timelines & logistics tend to be fluid even 1 month prior), a wedding day questionnaire will be sent for you to complete. But please wait to complete that questionnaire until your timeline is finalized. A wedding day bridal guide will also be sent to you to prepare for the big day.

5. Pre-WEDDING & TIMELINE Consultation

Once the wedding questionnaire has been submitted, we’ll have a one-on-one consultation to dive deep into your timeline, questionnaire, and expectations. This is your chance to share your dreams and inspirations with me.

6. The Day of the Wedding

On the day of the wedding, I’ll be there to document just about everything. I will blend seamlessly into your wedding, ensuring capture of authentic and beautiful footage.

7. Post-Production

With the help of your completed questionnaire, I’ll meticulously craft your video turning raw footage into a compelling masterpiece. Standard delivery is up to 4 weeks for the trailer & up to 16 weeks for the highlight. Rush services are available.

8. Delivery

Your final videos will be delivered via a digital gallery called Vidflow, which can be streamed/casted to most smart TV's, downloaded, and shared with everyone else. Physical video albums are available for purchase as well.

What makes a great film?

  • Authentic moments over forced content
  • Real emotion over staged trends
  • Focus on story > TikTok-style edits (unless requested)
  • Think about incorporating a 1st look/touch/prayer for a private, intimate moment
  • Consider writing letters to each other: they become voiceover gold.
  • Intentional Timeline Padding: 10–15 minutes of buffer prevents rushed footage.
  • Golden Hour Portrait Time (if possible): Even 10 minutes makes a huge visual difference.
  • Unplugged Ceremony (optional but powerful): Less phones = cleaner footage.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Working together as a team ensures your big day is focused solely on you

Crafted to Last a Lifetime

There will come a night — maybe on an anniversary, maybe with children beside you — when you revisit this film.

And in that moment, it won’t feel like a video.

It will feel like stepping back into the beginning.

That is why we create with care. Not just for today — but for the life you’re building together.

Social Media & Sharing Policy

  • Your film may be featured on Templeton Image platforms (Instagram, website, YouTube, portfolio, and select publications) as part of our storytelling archive, but only after it is accepted or you tell me you liked/loved it!
  • If you prefer privacy or an embargo period before anything is shared publicly, please let me know in advance — I am happy to honor your wishes.
  • You are welcome to share your films anywhere you’d like once delivered. We simply ask that the film remains unaltered (no cropping, re-editing, or audio changes) to preserve the integrity of the story.
  • Please tag @TheGreatStateofNate on Instagram or @Templeton Image on Facebook when sharing — we love celebrating your day alongside you.
  • Vendors may request the film for their own promotional use. I can provide professionally formatted clips directly to them when appropriate to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Music in your film is licensed for personal use and online sharing. Commercial use or paid advertising requires additional licensing.
  • We reserve the right to decline third-party re-edit requests to maintain creative integrity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we request song changes?

Music is carefully selected to complement your story, pacing, and emotional tone based on your input & how the day feels. It's a process that can literally take hours. But as an ambassador to the filmmaking industry's leading music licensing platform, Musicbed, I have access to the highest quality licensable music available without having to charge you the exorbitant fees associated with copyrighted music.

However, due to storytelling flow, and being known for cutting to the beat, song changes are not guaranteed once editing begins. Once complete, due to the amount of time involved to matching the cut to the beat of a song, a $500 flat fee (as agreed to in the contract) will be assessed.

If you have strong preferences, please share them before post-production starts so we can take them into consideration. But in my 8 year career, I've never had to change the song for a wedding.

How long are the films?

- Engagement Trailer: Typically 60–90 seconds
- Wedding Trailer: 60–90 seconds
- Highlight Film: Typically 5–8 minutes

Longer documentary edits (such as full ceremony or speeches) are included only if part of your selected collection, or available for add-on later.

Can we add extra hours later?

Yes — additional coverage can be added at any time prior to the wedding, subject to availability. We recommend confirming this at least 2–4 weeks before your date to ensure proper planning.

Can we receive the raw footage?

Raw footage is unedited, uncolored, and without audio enhancement. Because it does not reflect the Templeton Image standard, it is not included in any collections.

However, raw footage may be licensed separately upon request for archival purposes only for an additional fee.

Do you use drones?

When permitted by venue, weather, and FAA regulations, drone footage may be captured to enhance your story. Safety and legality always come first.

Will you work with our photographer and planner?

Absolutely. Collaboration is key to a seamless wedding day. We coordinate closely with your planner and photographer to ensure efficiency, respect for timelines, and beautiful results for everyone involved.

Can we request edits after delivery?

Each film is thoughtfully crafted with purpose in every single scene and is thoroughly reviewed before delivery.

However, while very rarely utilized, each film does include up to (2) minor revisions (such as small audio swaps, clip replacement, color/light adjustment or trimming a specific clip) may be accommodated within reason.

Since most wedding films can easily take 30-40 hours, or more, to create, major structural changes, re-edits, or alternate versions are considered additional edits and may require an additional fee.

What happens if the timeline runs late?

Weddings often run slightly behind schedule — and that’s completely normal.

We’ll continue documenting within your contracted coverage window. If additional time is needed beyond your scheduled coverage, overtime may be added (subject to availability).

When will we get our films?

Standard turnaround:
Trailer: Up to 4 weeks
Highlight Film: Up to 16 weeks

Rush delivery timelines and pricing vary depending on season and availability.

Can I add on additional deliverables later

Absolutely. If you decide to add a video that is not included in your package, like a full ceremony cut, reception cut, or full length documentary edit, those can always be added on for an additional fee later.

How is our footage protected?

Your engagement session & wedding is recorded using professional-grade equipment with redundant recording systems (dual-card capture and multiple audio backups).

All footage is securely backed up and archived to protect your memories via traditional hard drives and long-term cloud storage for redundancy's sake.

However, due to the nature of hard drives & online cloud storage issues outside of my control, I can not fully guarantee the footage for life. Therefore I recommend downloading all videos upon delivery as soon as possible & backing up the footage yourself via hard drive & cloud storage.
